Christine Driessen
As an aviation consultant at NACO, Christine seizes the opportunity to engage in diverse and distinctive global projects that allow her to merge her passion for aviation with her commitment to advancing the transition to a more sustainable aviation sector. Within her role, Christine thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with clients to identify optimal solutions for the challenges at hand.
Her advisory role encompasses various aspects, including shaping the future development of both greenfield and existing airports. She has also contributed her expertise to specialized studies, such as airport capacity assessments, airside configuration optimization, and runway throughput. Since 2020, she has been focusing on developing specialized knowledge to support the aviation industry’s shift towards sustainability. Her efforts are centered on understanding the implications and identifying the opportunities when implementing green alternative fuels.

The Dutch Caribbean Cooperation of Airports (DCCA) is organizing the 1stInternational Sustainable Air Transportation event called “A Flight To The Future” in Aruba in November 2022. A one-week event filled with presentations, panel discussion, masterclasses and test flight demonstrations with the Pipistrel Velis Electro, the first certified electric aircraft, all with the purpose of sharing knowledge, creating dialogue on the future of aviation and on interisland connectivity in the Dutch Caribbean.
